Ray Murray's fine achievement falls just short of County over 60 title

In a closely contested match in the Kent Winter Veterans Finals mens over 65 singles championships Ray just lost out to Keith Clark [Margate] by 6-4, 6-3 in the final. Ray is a model player, on and off court, and an outstanding example to our younger players, whom he regularly seeks out for a knock or to give advice. The club wishes him another successful year in all his tournaments both at home and in Europe.

Phil Pretty and Graham Russell become County over 65 veterans champions once more

Congratulations to Phil and Graham who, for the fourth year in a row, have won the. Having previously won the mens over 60 doubles championship on two occasions they possess a fine record which they continue to better year by year.  Phil and Graham are two of the main players of the club's all conquering mens over 60 North Kent first team. We wish them yet more success this coming summer season.
