Welcome to Gravesham Tennis Club

We are a well established, friendly club with approximately 100 adult members and 150 junior members.  We welcome anyone regardless of age or ability who is thinking of taking up the sport, improving their game with some further coaching or would just like to meet new people and socialise through tennis. 

We are a progressive club with eight hard courts, five of which have been resurfaced.  To complement the existing three floodlit courts we are currently installing brand new floodlighting on three more, thereby offering more opportunities for year round coaching and competition and we have ambitious plans for the future.

We are proud to host a diverse mix of members - from beginners right through to county/nationally ranked players - and have plenty of coaching and activity to support everyone in between.

We are running the Gravesham Autumn Open again this year from Saturday 11th to Saturday 25th September. This is a Mens and Ladies singles ratings-only tournament using a progressive draw whereby players with the lowest ratings will enter the competition first, moving to a higher level if they reach the final or semi-final of their own section. The finals will take place on Saturday 25th September. Juniors can apply. Play will take place at weekends and during the week under floodlights (we now have 6 floodlit courts). Entry is £10 and the closing date is 4th September. Please download the entry form here, which should be completed and returned with the correct entry fee.
