Welcome to Gravesham Tennis Club

We are a well established, friendly club with approximately 110 adult members and 120 junior members.  We welcome anyone regardless of age or ability who is thinking of taking up the sport, improving their game with some further coaching or would just like to meet new people and socialise through tennis. 

We are a progressive club with eight hard courts, five of which have been resurfaced.  To complement the existing three floodlit courts we have recently installed brand new floodlighting on three more, thereby offering more opportunities for year round coaching and competition and we have ambitious plans for the future.

We are proud to host a diverse mix of members - from beginners right through to county/nationally ranked players - and have plenty of coaching and activity to support everyone in between.

UPDATE! Gravesham are hosting an adult singles and doubles tournament from 17-31 March. This issanctioned by LTA and is grade 4. The tournament will be progressive draw sosuitable for all levels of players. Players will compete in divisions withtheir own ratings (ability level) and winners will progress to the next ratingdivision. Players must be age 17 by 31.12.12. The cost is £12 for singles and£6 for doubles. There will be consolation events so you will get at least 2matches. North Kent Presentation Evening

The NK presentation evening took place on Saturday 15th October.  The picture below shows Phil Pretty (Captain, Mens O'60) and Wayne Youngs (Captain, Mens Vets 2) picking up their trophies for winning their respective divisions in the NK league.  Well done to both captains and all those players who helpedthe teams to success.

Gravesham win Kent LTA 2010 Club Championship in style

Gravesham Tennis Club's mens team have became Kent LTA club champions with an emphatic 4-0 win over a strong Sydenham TC side without losing a set. This has followed a highly successful summer season during which they remained unbeaten in Kent LTA's Premier Division.

The club have already won the men's LTA North Kent Championship summer title for the second successive year following their success in gaining the North Kent winter 2009/10 championship.   
 
The teams were captained by Lee Donovan who, assisted by younger players now at his disposal through the club's development programme, has masterminded this unique achievement.
